BIOGRAPHY

Stuart Platt joined GRS in 2020 as Executive General Adjuster of marine claims services. His extensive legal background includes experience as a corporate officer, in-house counsel and attorney in maritime and admiralty law and insurance defense throughout the marine and casualty industry. Before joining GRS, Stuart maintained a private law practice providing defense litigation services and advice, regulatory interpretation, and trial and appellate matters in many state and federal jurisdictions. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Maritime Lawyers Association. He also is admitted to numerous federal district and appellate courts around the United States.
