Bill Kramer joined GRS in 2020 through the acquisition of William Kramer & Associates (WKA), a leading specialist claims firm that Bill founded in 1996. WKA focuses on complex, major losses, and tailored adjustment services across both property and casualty lines. Entering the business in 1978, Bill handled a variety of losses throughout the New York metropolitan area as a staff adjuster, including losses in school districts, hospitals, malls, and other settings, ranging from fire to business interruption, theft, cargo, and inland marine claims.

Beginning In 1983, as a General Adjuster at American International Underwriters (AIU), Bill traveled throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, South America, and the Mid-East for American International Group’s Fortune 50 clients. In addition to international losses, Bill has extensive experience in oil, petrochemical, and manufacturing losses. His career experience includes building claims businesses at Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection & Insurance Company and Thomas Howell Group, which Crawford & Company acquired in 1996.

Emma Kramer joined GRS through the 2020 acquisition of William Kramer & Associates (WKA). She joined WKA in 2010 after completing two professional development programs at Crawford Educational Services in Atlanta. Her studies focused on both basic and intermediate property loss adjustment. After obtaining her Connecticut adjuster’s license in 2012, she began working towards her Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.

Emma serves as a third-party administrator for Bechtel on all North American builders risk projects, auto and equipment claims. For Bechtel, Emma facilitates salvage, the transfer of title, and subrogation against negligent third parties. She also adjusts property and casualty losses in the field throughout New England.
